The Church has handed over it's parking facilities, which is all I use, to Parking Eye, notorious exploiters of car drivers. The car park doubles for use with a bowling club, whose members are regularly penalised by PE. Yet churchgoers are excused payment. What a great Christian attitude, penalising bowlers in their 80s and 90s for forgetting to enter their car reg or making a keying mistake on a terminal. £100 please.

Running a party hire company we have over the years been booked to do two parties at the church hall. The first one a few years ago the vicar couldn't be bothered turning up leaving parents and children and their guests in the car park with no access to the hall as he'd gone to the Flower Show in Southport. The second more recently where a week after delivering and collecting our equipment received a fine for £100 or £60 if paid within a certain timescale. After contacting the church office I was advised they could not cancel any PCN issued, something which is untrue as the land/property owner has the right to cancel any tickets issued and the person who I spoke with seemed amused that I may receive another one as I was there twice, what a nice Christian thing to do. Our appeal failed and fine was paid so effectively that day we worked for nothing.

Amazing amount of activities!
Enjoyed bowling and watching tennis. Many other things to get involved with (as well as the Church)

Friendly, welcoming church. Relaxed style of worship but different services to suit different tastes. We often prefer the slightly more formal 8:30am service, but even there the church tolerate our young children with a smile!

I did a craft fair there, it has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly & talented crafters. I wish we had more customers if its handmade, what more can you ask for.

Be very careful parking here. 2 staff members told me the parking machine's were broken and to put my Reg in a book, inside the Church which I did. Now got to pay a £100 parking fine. I was escorting an elderly Alzheimers sufferer to an excercise class here as her Carer. That is a full day's pay for me. I am disgusted. My appeal failed too so I have to pay it or go to court. Obviously the Church get a percentage of that. BEWARE. CORRUPT LIKE MOST CHURCHES.

A welcoming and accepting church, ecumenical and welcoming to all - Christians and anyone curious about Christian Faith. Many activities and groups connected to the church for people of all ages, including a sports club. Something for everyone.
