The practice looks very upmarket and care is friendly at the point of contact. However, I’ve had a few issues which have made me want to leave a review - not my usual style! Firstly, the waiting time for and between appointments is pretty long for private care. Secondly, the temporary crown applied after my first visit didn’t even last overnight, so I had to visit for an emergency replacement the next day. Thirdly, during one of my treatment sessions, an instrument broke and got lodged in my gum and left there, necessitating a third unplanned visit and prolonging the treatment plan. I appreciate that accidents happen, and the instrument was eventually removed at the next appointment over four weeks later, but I was quite shocked that the dentist blamed poor quality replacement instruments. Lastly, and most irritating for me, I have now been waiting for over six weeks for the endodontist to send a follow up letter to my usual dentist to enable the temporary crown to be replaced with a permanent one. I have now called four times to request that this is emailed over urgently as the delay is now holding up further treatment with my regular dentist. There has been no response despite the fact that the receptionists at my usual dentist have also been requesting this letter for the last three weeks. Aftercare and patient responsibility feels very much non-existent. Given the cost of private care here, I urge caution before choosing this practice!

The care I’ve had from Will has been exceptional. I started Invisalign over 2 years ago and can genuinely say I couldn’t have imagined a better treatment than the one I received from him. He’s answered every single one of my (literally countless) questions with expertise & thoughtfulness, been patient, thorough and methodical, steering me and my (very high) expectations towards an outcome we are both super happy with. Will knows I recommend him to anyone who asks about my teeth and I’m so grateful for his professionalism and attention to detail over the course of my treatment. Special mention to Sofia too - she’s been the most consistent dental nurse in my visits to Will and has always offered a gentle hand and great conversation! Thank you both - you are superstars :-)

Sincere thanks to Chris Jones for delivering a very high standard of care to my wife Helena. She underwent extensive dental treatment over a period of months and Chris was gentle and patient and went to great lengths to explain every stage of the treatment plan in detail. She is absolutely delighted with the results. We would recommend Chris to anybody who is looking to find the perfect dentist.

Can’t recommend Elbow Lane Dental Care highly enough. Have never liked visiting the dentist but Sophie Ainley was wonderful. She put me entirely at ease and explained everything about my treatment very clearly. Really pleased!

My family attend here and the service is incredible. I recently had some fillings done and our dentist Jamie Ralston, was brilliant. I get extremely anxious about attending due to a past experience as a child, and he was the first dentist I have seen to actually help me to overcome my fear. He was kind, gentle and professional. Completely unaware of my past trauma, just that I was anxious, and he was fantastic with me. He is brilliant with my little girl too, she looks forward to her next appointment and for the first time ever I have no fear or dread going for my next appointment.
