Excellent company to deal with, wife broke the screen on her Samsung A10. This was first time we have had to deal with a broken screen, perhaps we have been very lucky. Happened about 12.00 noon, phoned Formby Fones, first local company I found, they ordered a new screen. Phoned us next day, about 12.00 noon to say screen had arrive, delivered phone, replacement completed within the hour. My laptop was running very slowly and getting very very hot plus the DVD drive didnt work. I thought of buying a new one but tried Formby Fones & Computing and they fixed it within 24 hrs for £40. Its now running fast and cool. Great service I will be using them again.

Really pleased I found this business as they provided a new iPhone battery and screen and for less than half the price of Apple. Andy was really good. Phoned me immediately the batteries were in. Left the phone at 1pm, collected it at 3pm and it’s as good as new. Great service. Will certainly go back to Andy again for any computer issues and needs.

My iPhone 6 battery died and my phone would not turn on, I was unsure what to do next so I took my phone to for the phone and computer. The service was excellent, fast (1 hour) and cheap. There was a particular issue with my phone and the staff went beyond the call of duty to rectify it without any additional cost to myself. Extremely pleased with the service and price which was only £20. Highly recommended.

Well if you want phone in worse condition down when you pick it up after numerous visits to the shop this is the place for you. Took my iPhone 6 in as kept freezing and then acting like it had a mind of its own. Was told on Saturday that it needed a new screen. Went back in on Tuesday as problem was still occurring. Was again told it needed a new screen so a new one was put on. Problem still occurred so I took it back. Again. Was then told it was not the screen but an internal problem that only Apple could resolve. I was told the they would put my old screen back on and offer me a full refund. Went back the next day to pick the phone up and the old screen (which is now apparent was working perfectly) would now not fit my phone properly. When this was put to the gentleman behind the counter he asked if I was accusing him of jumping on the phone. So to sum up, if you want to waste your time and get your problem misdiagnosed twice and then your phone damaged when they try and rectify their own mistakes then this is the place for you. Alternatively, seek an alternative route.

Have had multiple problems with getting the screen replaced in my phone. Took my phone to get fixed last October and still waiting for it to be resolved. Found them quite unsympathetic and condescending. Often don't answer the phone a d didn't reply to an email I sent too. They often promised to do something and then didn't follow through with it. I regret ever taking my phone there to get fixed now. I'm at the point of going to Trading Standards as £90 to repair a phone in total that I haven't been able to use for 8 months is taking the piss. Have had to buy another phone in the end to tide me by at another £60. Could have saved myself £90 and just done that instead if I knew what a palarva this was going to be.
